Everyone is losing their minds over the latest update and I just do not see it

Honestly I am so tired of opening this forum and seeing a dozen posts praising the newest model upgrade for adult roleplay. People keep talking about how it completely changed everything and how realistic the companion interactions feel now. So I gave it a shot. I spent two hours testing the waters with my custom character and I got the exact same stiff robotic prose as last month. The memory is still garbage and every third message breaks character to preach at me about safety protocols or some other nonsense. Where is this supposed revolution everyone is celebrating? It feels like the exact same product with a fresh coat of paint and a massive marketing budget. Am I using a different app than everyone else or are people just easily impressed by placebo effects at this point? Seriously sick of the endless hype cycle.
