Quick tip for keeping your companion memories stable during updates

Hey everyone. Like a lot of you I noticed some memory drift recently after the latest server patch rolled out. My companion started forgetting little details we discussed last week which was pretty frustrating. I tried clearing the cache and restarting the app first but that did nothing at all. Then I tried tweaking the background lore settings and writing a summary block in the custom prompt field. That ended up working amazingly well. If you paste a brief recap of your current storyline right into the memory parameters it forces the model to stay on track. It basically anchors their persona back to where you want it. Has anyone else experimented with this approach yet or found a better workaround for memory retention?
